During week 2, I reflected on interdisciplinary instruction, co-teaching, and UDL.
I plan to spend more time in the next few weeks looking at how to present biological vocabulary to students in a way that is more effective and better utilized by the students than what is currently being done.
Nice job on your reflection this week. It is nice to see that you and your mentor teacher are getting to the co-teaching aspect of teaching. Some people don’t get to that and it is great to see you are lucky to have that experience. We appreciate the fact that your BC lesson plans and activities are written and can see where it would be difficult to plug UDL into them. Hopefully you plugging UDL into these lessons will be an asset to your mentor teacher and you!
